George Kakuta, the owner of Midori-en Care Home, realized after 10 years
of helping seniors at Sacramento adult day care facility that his life's calling
was to begin the process of opening his own senior care home in the area.
Midori-en is an assisted care home for the elderly in Sacramento, California
and offers quality senior care in a warm, family-like setting that is
comfortable and affordable. We have many years of experience working
in the assisted living field. Our staff is qualified and fluent in Japanese
and English. In our senior care home, we offer individual rooms, recreational
opportunities, and exercise programs tailored to each resident's needs.
Part of the amenities for our senior guests includes: planned outings to a
nearby rose garden, library, shopping center, and occasional lunches out at
restaurants in the area. We offer gatherings for our residents and their
caregivers, and family members to enjoy socializing and special celebrations
together.
Midori-en senior care home places great emphasis on the whole health care
program for our senior residents which includes: nutritious meals, daily mind
and body exercises, and walks. In addition, the meals and snacks reflect
Japanese cuisine as well as American and Chinese dishes served. All food
preparation is of the highest quality and prepared daily on the premises.
